“Stargazing” was inspired by a night my husband and I spent at Big Bend State Park. We took a blanket, found a spot under the open sky, and watched the stars dance above us.

If you've ever been to Big Bend, you know how incredible the night sky can be. With so little light around, the stars seem to go on forever. It was one of those nights when you realize you don't need anything fancy to make a beautiful memory.

I wanted to capture that feeling in a song. Just the two of us, a blanket, a sky full of stars, and nowhere else we needed to be.

Sometimes the simplest moments turn out to be the ones you remember most.
