“Future Tomorrows” started as another songwriting challenge. When I was given the phrase, my first thought was, “Isn't that a little redundant?” I wasn't particularly fond of it, but I decided to see what I could do with it anyway. As I started writing, the phrase took on a whole new meaning. It became a song about holding on when life feels overwhelming and remembering that what you're going through today isn't necessarily what tomorrow will look like. Sometimes hope is simply believing that better days are still ahead. Funny how a phrase I didn't even like became the heart of a song about hope.
