I wrote “When All Is Said and Done” thinking about my dad. I found myself wondering how our perspective changes as we get older. Do we look back on the decisions we've made and the roads we've taken and wonder if we made the right choices? Do we think about what we might have done differently? And when we look at the life we've lived, what really matters? Those questions became the heart of this song.
