“Telluride” came to me in the most unexpected way—while I was at someone else's concert! The musician was singing a song about Colorado, but an entirely different song started forming in my head. Before I knew it, I was loudly singing my newly invented chorus to my husband, who had absolutely no idea what I was singing. Inspiration had never struck me quite like that before. I went home that night and wrote a song about one of my favorite places, “Telluride.”
