Lyrics

It was just a silly fight on a Saturday
Not a hill I wanted to die on
Or make him walk away
I never thought words would make him run
But the words just rolled off my tongue
Looks like a little crazy has gone and
Spoiled all the fun

They say when you leave
There's a small catch
It only takes a spark
To light the match
But when the color red is flaming in my eye
That fire ain't going out, no matter how I try
Restraint is such a hard thing for me
So, I’m leaving nothin
But burned bridges when I leave

I went to work like any other day
I liked my job and the pay was, ok
But my boss seemed to be in a mood
And guess what my mouth chose to do
I'll now looking for a new job
Compliments of.... my attitude

Just another bridge gone up in flames
I'll be home later with only me to blame
I probably should find another path
That doesn’t leave destruction
In the aftermath
But that anger is so hard to curb
When you’re sitting on my...
Very last nerve

They say when you leave
There's a small catch
It only takes a spark
To light the match
But when the color red is flaming in my eye
Water can’t put out that fire
No matter how hard I try
Restraint is such a hard thing for me
So, I’m leaving nothin
But burned bridges when I leave

Nothing but burned bridges when I leave
